Applied Research Solutions Administrative Assistant (part-time) in Dayton, Ohio

Applied Research Solutions is looking for a Part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Applied Research Center for Hypersonics (ARCH) at the Air Force institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support to government personnel, including the Center Director and Deputy Director; track and schedule leadership meeting frequencies; and schedule Center reviews as needed.

  • Provide a wide range of other administrative support services to the Center affiliated faculty and staff in support of Center activities.

  • Assist with ordering office supplies, gathering requests for supplies, and preparing and itemizing various lists for supplies/equipment to be procured by the Government office.

  • Write and execute unfunded requests.

  • Apply data management skills to Center’s filing system and data management.

  • Execute sponsored project funds through government purchase card buys.

  • Book travel arrangements (through DTS) for center affiliated travel.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

  • Must have be a US Citizen

  • Must possess a BS in a related field

  • Demonstrate experience in administrative work

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
