Description
Robert Half currently is seeking an Accounting Clerk contract position in the Dayton, OH area.
How you will make an impact:
Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
Provide support to internal business partners
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
Conduct full-cycle A/P & process checks
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Working with matching invoices, verifying, data entry & processing into SAP (ERP system)
Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger
Preparing manifests and schedule shipments
Coordinate finished products for shipping
Ongoing administrative and clerical duties to support onsite services
Process expense reports
Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements
Microsoft Excel experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar experience preferred
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
