What would you do as our Area Sales Manager

You would continuously develop sales by achieving agreed sales targets, maintain and expand the customer base within the area by identifying and contacting businesses and to influence them to buy Mila products through the implementation of the agreed sales action plan. You would work closely with our branded Suppliers to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.

You would also:

  • Maintain a close regular & professional working relationship with existing & prospective customers to maintain and improve market share and profitability

  • Regularly review and analyse customer activity to maximise range of products sold

  • Work with internal sales to minimise back orders, schedule and prioritise product requirements

  • Actively seek new business opportunities in line with the overall sales plan and to agreed targets

  • Discuss pricing, after-sales customer service, guarantees and delivery schedules with customers

    This role also entails providing forecasts to the business for budget and stock purposes, delivering annual sales action plans and monthly reports as well as coordinating, managing and negotiating customer complaints promptly and to the required measures.

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an active field based sales position (previous industry experience in sales is an advantage)

  • The ability to work from home

  • Strong organisational, self-motivation and communication skills

  • Excellent commercial awareness

  • Full UK driving licence
