Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in DANVILLE, Indiana. The role primarily involves the management of financial records and customer inquiries within the Not for Profit sector. The workplace is an environment that encourages growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain comprehensive records of customer credit.

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Conduct regular account monitoring and initiate appropriate actions.

• Ensure accurate reconciliation of account balances.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring it is updated and accurate.

• Manage journal entries for financial transparency and clarity.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.

• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting. Requirements • Applicants must hold a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position as a Sr. Accountant or in a related field.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a mandatory requirement.

• Candidates must have experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Must have demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Applicants should have a strong understanding of the General Ledger.

• Familiarity with creating and managing Journal Entries is essential.

• Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in handling Month End Close activities is required.
