Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our accounting team in managing day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger entries, processing journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. You will also reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Process journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

  • Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.

  • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience (or internship experience in accounting).

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
