job summary:
The Sr. Property Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting tasks related to our commercial and residential properties. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and provide insightful recommendations to enhance our financial operations.

responsibilities:
Tenant Billings:** Manage tenant billing processes accurately and timely.
Triple Net Cost Recoveries:** Handle triple net cost recoveries and perform year-end reconciliations.
Bank Reconciliations:** Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
Deposit Applications:** Apply deposits and maintain accurate records.
Invoice Coding:** Code invoices accurately and efficiently.
Journal Entries:** Prepare and post journal entries.
CAM Expenses:** Oversee Common Area Maintenance (CAM) expenses.
Accounts Payable:** Manage accounts payable functions.
Budget Preparation:** Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
Monthly Reporting:** Generate monthly financial reports and operating reports for several residential properties.
Financial Analysis:** Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making.
qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years in commercial property management accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of property management accounting practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make strategic recommendations.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
