Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting an Office Administrator in the Dallas office. This position is responsible for ensuring the needs of our clients, lawyers and staff are met through the efficient administration and collaboration of local office and firm-wide resources. Works closely with all levels of firm leadership to ensure adherence to firm policies and best practices. Leads change on behalf of the firm at the office level and partners with peer leaders to effect change on a firm level. Supports and promotes firm Core Values, Client Service Principles and a One Firm commitment in all aspects of job performance. Demonstrates a drive and desire to enhance the internal and external client service experience, advancing innovation and change.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Prepares the office budget, develops and reports on expenses for the fiscal year. Monitors results on a monthly basis and prepares quarterly analyses of projected income and expenditures compared to actual income and expenditures. 2. Reviews office statistics regarding performance. Makes recommendations and implements plans to improve attorney and staff timekeeper financial results. Reviews monthly team workload report to assess and validate current staffing levels and office discretionary spending. 3. Works with partners, in conjunction with business development staff and team managers, in development of office strategies or tactics, which may include local marketing efforts, client development and lateral hiring. 4. Facilitates cooperation between office partners and their team leadership. Promotes the implementation of firm and team initiatives and policies within the office. 5. Manages significant events that have a major impact on the office. Recognizes when changes are needed, overcomes obstacles, and collaborates with partners to gain support.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors degree required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience. Preferably in a law firm, professional services, or other client relationship-based organization. Other Minimum Qualifications: Travel may be required. Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications. Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Must possess the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism. Must act as catalyst for change, drive and own results. Creative and innovative. Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening) and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse group of professionals. Sound judgment and flexibility. Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed to process and read extensive written communications. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication. Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory.
