TIAA Mgr., Marketing Operations in Dallas, Texas

The Marketing Operations Role collaborates closely with cross-functional Product partners, Brand, Creative Agencies and multiple Suppliers within and external to drive strategic execution as a Omni Channel Lead SME. This includes the journey orchestration execution in the Direct Mail Channel Automated Programs related to end-to-end print production, branded creative, and several IT technology portals through Fulfillment for TIAA Product Partners and Marketing Strategist partners for the Enterprise. The primary focus will be managing Print Production and Fulfillment projects/orders/PDF/Templates both on-line and paper. Additional responsibilities include management of process workflow, budget management, item/kit set up, test, train, and monitor controls to ensure compliance adherence within the operating model report KPI metrics as a SME.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Accountable for Print Production Campaign/Project execution outcomes and innovational enhancements as a Center of Excellence Ambassador to produce best efficient method.

  • SME to business DM/Fulfillment and industry expertise.

  • Lead Product Partners requirements, scope, test, and training efforts in partnership with dependencies of multiple 3rd party IT Technology Resources, Suppliers, Internal IT, Database Marketing, Creative Brand, and Compliance.

  • Optimize cross-functionality through use of technology, clearly defined governance of marketing processes, and clear communication to the business teams.

  • Manage 3rd Party Supplier relationships, programs, SLAs, trouble shoot issues, coordinate inventory set up/management of compliant content through score cards and SOPs.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Print/Fulfillment.

  • Participate in Print/Fulfillment Team and Supplier meeting cadences, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, project status, score card contributions and KPI metrics

  • Plus for partner intake & IT experience on technology portals (Work Front, Ad Master, Seismic, Sales Force, MarketSync and Share Point knowledge)

  • This role will combine three pillars (people, process, and technology) to successfully manage all creative files, data, and PDF content for order set up and triaged (if applicable)

  • People: Work with key business partners and vendors to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timeliness in daily operations. Assist business partners in development of future programs, Development, business rules/business logic for future IT transmissions.

  • Process: Manage production process associated with project, DM campaigns, orders for Seismic presentations, are received IGO and ensure SLAs are met for execution/delivery. Support process improvements to increase speed to market, reduce re-work and delivers outcomes.

  • Technology: Use a variety of automation tools to execute and seek opportunities. Write IT technical program requirements, manage inventory controls, and work closely with IT partners for development, UAT and deployment.

  • Drive automation, data quality/accuracy and efficiency to support transmissions and program journeys.

  • Assist in engineering Marketing Strategy Optimization, project management, and change management for funnel optimization, trouble shooting, maintaining workflows, introduction of process enhancements, budgeting, while empowering execution and advocating for innovation

  • Possess detailed knowledge of custom financial products, systems, and extensive knowledge of Print/Fulfillment industry expertise as a subject matter expert (SME)

  • Monitor and manage operational processes refinement, focusing on efficiencies and process reliability audits

  • Responsible for the relationship building between 3rd Party Supplier, budget, and invoice processing

  • Direct vendor’s efforts in creating support materials and processes enhancements for new business offerings

Required Qualifications:

  • Three plus years of experience in technology/system analysis involving supplier management and marketing operational print and fulfillment support environment or equivalent combination

  • Three plus years of having a high aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution

  • Three plus years understanding of IT development processes and technical concepts

  • Three plus years skilled at documenting, analyzing, and resolving risks/issues

  • Three plus years of an inherent drive and desire for continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing operations or related discipline.

  • High aptitude for collaboration, complex problem analysis, and resolution

  • Experience with complex print production, technology systems, data, and process management

  • Competency in communicating complex ideas, organization, hands-on, and results oriented expert

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with the ability to zoom out to see the big picture and solution

  • Vendor engagement and management

  • Work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Concurrently handle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly

  • Build relationships and maintain successful working relationships with individuals at varying levels and from different areas of the organization

  • Strong understanding of financial services industry and ability to grasp new concepts and processes

  • Ability to operate strategically and tactically based on business needs

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Technical understanding of Print/Fulfillment

Base Pay Range: $91,800/yr. - $117,700/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
