Medical Assistant – Back Office Floater (Oncology & Colon/Rectal Patients)

We're seeking a Medical Assistant – Back Office Floater to support our healthcare team across locations in Waxahachie, Duncanville, and Dallas, specializing in oncology and colon/rectal care. About the Role
As a Back Office Floater, you will:
Assist in patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and collecting medical histories, with a focus on oncology and colon/rectal patients.
Support physicians and nurses with clinical duties, including administering injections, coordinating procedures, and providing assistance during specialized treatments.
Travel between clinics in Waxahachie, Duncanville, and Dallas, maintaining consistency and high-quality care across all locations.
Maintain and organize patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with front office staff and other medical team members to ensure seamless patient care and workflow.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Certification as a medical assistant or equivalent experience (preferred).
Experience in working with oncology and/or colon/rectal patients, or a willingness to learn and adapt to their specialized needs.
Exceptional ability to manage priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in back-office operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate support to patients.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
Flexibility and a reliable means of transportation for travel between clinics.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
