What You Need:
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a high-volume accounting department
Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
Proficiency in NetSuite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and demonstrate flexibility with excellent organization and prioritization skills
Possesses the ability and desire to be innovative and to continuously seek out new opportunities to improve processes
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
CPA Preferred
The Opportunity:
PDI is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to manage the maintenance of the organization's general ledger and accounting records. You will ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial
information, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and support the overall financial health and decision-making processes of the organization. You will also be responsible for overseeing and managing the settlement process of financial transactions within Fuel Rewards.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the preparation and distribution of specific segments of the organization's financial reporting, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Create a plan to deliver and review financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.
Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management
and/or control process.
Participate in or lead a team performing settlement tasks, overseeing a broad range of accounts, ensuring the organization's financial interests are protected within established systems.
Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and to the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.
Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance.
