Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Intern to join our People team and provide support to our Speak Up/ Playmaker Relations department. This role will involve performing a variety of tasks, including data entry into our case management system, performing case intake, and resolving low level employee relations cases.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in HR operations and gain insight into Topgolf’s approach to Playmaker coaching and development. As an HR Intern, you will play an important role in ensuring our Playmakers are heard. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in maintaining accurate records and assisting with various HR-related activities. Additionally, you will have the chance to gain exposure to different facets of HR management.

Responsibilities
Perform data entry into our Case Management system, entering cases that come in via email, phone, and our online platform.
Handle case intake, including triaging low-level situations and providing coaching and direction to resolve issues quickly.
Provide relevant and effective consulting services to venue-based and corporate leadership regarding employee workplace complaints matters. Confer with Speak Up Managers to provide guidance and/or consultation.
Partner with Speak Up managers to perform investigation interviews and follow up.
Interpret and explain company policy, coach Playmakers as necessary.
Prepare reports as needed (such as volume metrics, case type, etc.)
Participate in meetings and training and development opportunities.
Requirements and skills
Strong drive for results, problem solver, and outcomes focused
Demonstrate ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with multiple partners
Strong influence, leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple assignments
Prior experience working within an HR environment is a plus
Familiarity with data entry and databases
Strong Microsoft Suite skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Organizational skills
Agile partner to adjust to moving business priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
Ideal candidate will be currently pursuing or have completed a BS in Human Resources Management, Hospitality or similar field
