responsibilities:
Ensure and improve plant safety and environmental programs.
Troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs, instrumentation, and drives on production lines.
Analyze data to identify and manage improvements in the manufacturing process.
Identify gaps in automation deployment and implement PLC program improvements.
Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings and manuals.
Perform electrical and controls layouts, and create electrical drawings using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers, operations, and maintenance personnel for cross-functional support.
Ensure machinery compliance with operational standards and improve system reliability.
Train plant personnel on new systems and update safety procedures.
Use technical tools for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for plant equipment and processes.
Perform planned work and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Operate shop equipment for installation and programming of new systems.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and wear required PPE on the production floor.
Work flexible hours, including occasional extended shifts, to support troubleshooting and project implementation.
