responsibilities:

  • Ensure and improve plant safety and environmental programs.

  • Troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs, instrumentation, and drives on production lines.

  • Analyze data to identify and manage improvements in the manufacturing process.

  • Identify gaps in automation deployment and implement PLC program improvements.

  • Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings and manuals.

  • Perform electrical and controls layouts, and create electrical drawings using CAD software.

  • Collaborate with engineers, operations, and maintenance personnel for cross-functional support.

  • Ensure machinery compliance with operational standards and improve system reliability.

  • Train plant personnel on new systems and update safety procedures.

  • Use technical tools for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for plant equipment and processes.

  • Perform planned work and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Operate shop equipment for installation and programming of new systems.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and wear required PPE on the production floor.

  • Work flexible hours, including occasional extended shifts, to support troubleshooting and project implementation.
