Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic leader to provide comprehensive support for our business shared services, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Business Operations. This role involves strategic oversight and coordination of our business shared services, including Supply Chain, Sales Operations & Enablement, Digital Transformation, Environmental Sustainability, IT, and Continuous Improvement with an intentional focus of driving a high-performance organizational culture.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to navigate a complex organizational landscape. This role requires a proactive individual, capable of driving initiatives across the organization and anticipating outcomes and follow-on actions.

This position will support our Business Operations team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of Dallas, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the COO to manage day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives

  • Drive a portfolio of projects that turn Business Operations into a high-performance organization

  • Lead special projects and initiatives related to the COO's portfolio, driving innovation, efficiency, and streamlining work between groups / functions

  • Coordinate and oversee projects across the COO's areas of responsibility, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives

  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency within business processes

  • Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and documents for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the COO

  • Represent the COO in selected meetings and events, as needed

  • Provides guidance, direction, and mentorship to the Executive Assistant to ensure the effective operation of the organization

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in business management / senior operational role, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred

  • Proven experience working across lines of business and driving cross-functional activity to successful completion

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

  • Strong leadership, project management, change management, and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
