Job Title: Plumbing Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
As a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing plumbing repairs and installations, conducting inspections and maintaining facilities and equipment, threading and soldering pipes, lubricating pumps and valves, rebuilding traps and valves, and assessing, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform plumbing repair and installation

Rebuild traps and valves
Assess, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance
Essential Skills
5+ years in maintenance
3+ years with a plumbing focus
Proficiency in plumbing, service, installation, construction, and mechanical tasks
Ownership of hand tools
Valid driver's license with less than 6 points
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Completion of an apprenticeship or trade school plumbing certification
Commercial backflow certification (will be provided schooling for this once hired permanently)

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position with working hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm (flexible). You will report to the FM building each morning and cover various parts of our 1,157-acre campus in Kent, Ohio, which is adorned with trees and other foliage. You will work within the facilities management team, alongside custodial, grounds, movers/laborers, fleet service, maintenance, and trades personnel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
