As part of our WW Education leadership team, you will play an integral role in ensuring we are designing and delivering global sales programs to support the needs of our education customers and drive business growth. This is a highly strategic role that requires leading a team, working across complex environments, inspiring others, and making effective business decisions. In this role, you will partner with Apple’s education teams worldwide to design and deliver programs that are relevant, scalable, and impactful. Through your deep knowledge of educational structures and policies and thought leadership, your influence will shape our World Wide Education team for years to come.

Description

As WW Education Senior Manager, you will oversee Apple’s global education sales programs, including Apple Professional Learning, Apple Distinguished Schools, Authorized Training Centers for Education as well as any future pre- and post-sales education Customer Success programs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring Apple is at the forefront of providing first class programs to ensure education institutions successfully adopt Apple technology and deliver ROI. In this role, you will: - Lead a team that is responsible for the implementation of WW Apple Professional Learning, Apple Distinguished Schools and a range of other Customer Success programs - Provide oversight and strategic direction of Customer Success Programs, including WW Apple Professional Learning and ensuring alignment with channel programs and country-specific sales programs - Set strategy and oversee the WW Apple Distinguished Schools Program, to offer strong value for schools and ensuring relevance across markets and improving operations to support an efficient, and supported process globally. - Partner with regional education sales teams across the world to support their business needs and drive relevant adoption of core programs such as Apple Professional Learning and Apple Distinguished Schools. - Design the strategy for future education Customer Success Programs, including all levels of formal education. - Lead the WW implementation of Apple Authorized Training Centers for Education and design supporting programs to support country requirements. - Partner closely with other WW Education teams and other relevant teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Government Engagement, etc.) to ensure strong alignment, cohesiveness and a one Apple approach, ensuring a seamless customer experience across advocacy and customer success programs run across the business.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires minimum of 15+ years of related experience

  • 8+ years of people leadership experience focused on teacher professional development, indirect channel development, advocacy programs, and/or education systems

  • Extraordinary knowledge of the global Education vertical, including go-to-market strategy, customer profiles, market trends and challenges, key use cases, associated solutions, and competitive landscape

  • Experience designing and managing education programs

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required

  • Background working with channel partners and/or supporting multiple routes to market is highly preferred

  • Deep knowledge of the Apple education ecosystem and high level of proficiency with Apple products and services is a plus

  • Ability to build, lead, and develop inclusive teams and attract and retain talent through performance management, coaching, guidance, and support

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Apple’s values

  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and manage complex relationships

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to gain alignment on program objectives and priorities with senior leaders

  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none exists

  • Experience managing a remote/geographically dispersed team is a plus

  • Advanced degree in Education is a plus

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,600 and $311,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
