Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Building and supporting critical infrastructural systems and frameworks that support services like structured and unstructured storage, caching, queueing, and searching. Have a deep understanding of developing highly scalable, highly available products, and are fully fault tolerant. Designing, developing, and deploying high-performance systems that handle millions of queries daily. Responsible for helping us build the technology that works for many customers worldwide. Designing, developing, and deploying data processing applications and frameworks on Private and Public cloud-based infrastructure like AWS and GCP. Perform cluster management and orchestration software like Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Helm charts, and Docker. Ability to design large-scale, complex applications with excellent run-time characteristics such as low latency, fault tolerance, and availability. Involve development of a core product that is highly unique to Apple, is tightly integrated with proprietary Apple tools, and has created processes to improve the customer experience for users across Apple. Work in highly cross-functional teams with partners and customers to gather requirements and collaborate on development, testing, and production releases. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,662 - $256,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Cloud based Ingestion Platform

  • Trino Gateway

  • Cloud Native services on AWS Cloud-based Infrastructure.

  • Druid for Analytics

  • Resource isolation for interactive querying

  • Java, Scala and scripting languages, preferably with critical, large-scale distributed systems.
