The role calls for versatile UI engineer who is deeply committed in crafting high performant, accessible and innovative solutions that will continually delight and inspire our customers around the world

Description

In this role, you’ll be instrumental turning requirements and wireframes into high-performance web applications using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices. With a keen eye for pixel-perfect detail, you’ll ensure each user interaction is seamless and intuitive. Our ideal candidate brings demonstrated engineering expertise and a proven record of delivering innovative UI designs, creating applications that are not only visually engaging but also reliable and scalable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of front-end engineering experience in enterprise or consumer applications.

  • Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills with experience of framework like React, Angular, or Vue.

  • Experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs and handling large datasets.

  • Experience writing unit and integration test (Jest, Playwright, Cypress etc).

  • Familiar with in Git and CI/CD tools.

  • Experience with TypeScript for enhanced code reliability in large-scale applications.

  • Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and Vite.

  • Strong proficiency with UI performance optimization techniques.

  • Background in micro-frontend architectures or modular front-end design patterns.

  • Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, RESTful APIs) to facilitate seamless front-end and back-end collaboration.

  • Experience developing and contributing to design systems or reusable component libraries.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
