Punch Studio Front Desk Representative in Culver City, California
We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. Are you friendly to everyone you meet, highly organized and flexible? Responsibilities
Manage lobby area by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing all guests and visitors.
Act as onsite COVID-19 Safety Officer by ensuring all employees and guests meet COVID safety requirements, including but not limited to: Temperature scans, mask compliance and posted signage compliance.
Assist with invoicing and other clerical tasks
Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
Receive letters, packages and deliveries and distribute them
Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
Check, sort and forward emails
Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
Keep updated records and files
Monitor vending machines and replenish as needed
Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, application forms, paper, logs, etc.)
Perform other clerical and administrative tasks and responsibilities as needed or requested
Ability to be confident, resourceful, and proactive to manage any and all issues that may arise.
Strong attention-to-detail with proven time-management, prioritization and organizational skills
Must be able to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times or deadlines
Requirements
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, vending machine and scanner)
Excellent verbal and written communication complemented by exemplary customer service skills.
Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills - Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong communication and people skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor.
Respect and sensitivity for cultural differences
Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: Ranges from $19.00 per hour - $24 per hour based on experience.
