Avera is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), Unit Coordinator to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

    Job Summary

    The Resident Care Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for coordinating the MDS process as well as day to day clinical management of residents care. Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals. Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times. Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship. Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse.

  • Two or more years’ experience in long term care and/or supervisory experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and basic PC experience.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state.

  • Maintains a current CPR certification.

    Work Schedule

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks

  • Occasional weekends

  • Occasional holidays

  • Occasional on call time

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $32.50 - $48.75 per hour
