Adecco US, Inc. Quality Inspector 2nd Shift in Cranston, Rhode Island
Adecco is currently hiring for a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector in the Cranston, RI area. The position pays roughly $20-$28 depending on experience.
Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
The Quality Control Inspector uses a variety of techniques and methods including visual inspection and measuring instruments, and records data of findings. In this role the candidate will perform inspection and testing on incoming, finished or in-process product to insure customer specifications and quality requirements.
Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.
Performs all forms of inspections, first article/incoming/in process and final, ensuring that all products have been tested and fall within standards
Inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements.
Perform material kit audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of the kitting process.Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; logs the assembly non-conformities and initiates / generates Non-Conformance Reports as required.
File incoming component Device History Records.
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience with quality inspection and / or precision measurement is preferred, as is prior work experience in an ISO work environment
Must display very strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is required
Proficiency with the use of measuring tools and gauges is required
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and team-oriented work environment
Proficient in math and algebra, and in making arithmetical calculations
Working knowledge of GMP, FDA and Medical Device Handling Practices
Pay Details: $18.00 to $28.00 per hour
