Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented global Leave of Absence (LOA) Program Leader to oversee and manage all aspects of our company's leave of absence programs. The LOA Program Leader will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant administration of various team member leave programs, including but not limited to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), disability, and paid family leave. This role requires a strong understanding of federal, state, and local leave laws, a commitment to providing excellent team member service, and the ability to work cross-functionally with People team, legal, and leadership teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee third party leave of absence vendor program process and communication to ensure quality service delivery, timely processing, and issue resolution.
Lead and manage the end-to-end process for all types of team member leave requests, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability,, and other leave types.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for managing leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Oversee the timely administration of LOA claims, tracking all dates, documentation, and approvals related to leaves.
Monitor leave trends and identify opportunities for program improvements, including process efficiencies or changes in policy.
Collaborate with the People Team and our external partners to provide unmatched service and quality levels to leadership and the business
Recommend enhancements to current practices and new plans to find the best programs to serve and reward our people
Collaborate with People Team business partners, leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of leaves, including coordination of return-to-work plans and education on all leave of absence programs

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing leave of absence programs, team member benefits, or a related HR function.
Strong knowledge of leave laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, state-specific leave laws, etc.), Federal and State Employment
Previous experience working with third-party leave administrators and/or HRIS systems is a plus.
Experience with Oracle HRIS, Dayforce, Alight or other HRIS platforms is highly desirable.
Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. null
