We are working on new designs and technologies and ways to integrate these technologies into a seamless experience for our customers. We are looking for a curious and passionate individual to investigate how to create this experience. This is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing unit within Stryker with an opportunity for growth in many directions. This role will require you to investigate ways to sense and communicate to and from powered instrumentation within an ecosystem of various supporting systems including EM navigation, endoscopic visualization and waste management, all used within a customer environment. You will collaborate within a global, multi-functional team working to build the next best thing for our customers in powered ENT instrumentation. Are you ready for the challenge?

We seek a talented individual with expertise in:

  • Analog & digital circuits

  • PCB design using Altium Designer (or similar)

  • circuit simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice or similar)

  • Designing high-power and high-frequency circuits with low EMI emissions

  • Troubleshooting circuits using measurement tools

  • Hands-on experience with soldering/desoldering electronic circuits

Experience with any of the following an advantage:

  • Creating multi-layer PCBs an advantage

  • Understanding of controlled impedance trace routing techniques

  • Ability to perform Design For Manufacturability (DFM)

  • Experience with FPGA/ZYNQ systems and embedded systems

  • Embedded coding experience for analog to digital interfaces

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline & 2+ years of work experience
