Job Description

At the LEGO Group, security is a shared responsibility. Our Digital Security team is at the heart of protecting our people, systems, and experiences from ever-evolving cyber threats. We work together to detect, respond to, and contain security incidents—always looking for ways to stay one step ahead.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring leader to guide our Cyber Threat Detection & Response function, ensuring we quickly identify and neutralize threats before they impact our business or our customers. Develop and guide a strong team, craft the detection & response strategy, and build positive relationships internally and with our detection & response provider.

This role will be based at either Copenhagen Digital Hub or Billund Campus, Denmark. Please note that relocation support is not available for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of cyber defenders, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to help them grow.

  • Ensure rapid threat detection and response, leading efforts in security monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting to protect our digital environment.

  • Strengthen partnerships, internally with teams across the company and externally, running our relationship with an outsourced detection & response provider to ensure seamless collaboration and best-in-class protection.

  • Drive continuous improvement, enhancing processes, tools, and automation to make security operations more agile and effective.

  • Be ready for the unexpected, overseeing crisis management and business continuity planning to keep the LEGO Group resilient in the face of cyber incidents.

  • Collaborate with teams across Digital Technology and beyond to build a strong, security-conscious culture in a multi-functional manner.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of cybersecurity in the LEGO Group.

Play your part in our team succeeding

In the role of Head of Cyber Threat Detection & Response, you will be responsible for a team of cyber defenders working to identify and eliminate threats. Your team will be the eyes and ears of our digital landscape—hunting threats, analysing security events, and coordinating rapid, effective responses to incidents. You’ll also be responsible for the relationship with our outsourced detection & response partner, ensuring strong collaboration and robust protection for the LEGO Group.

This isn’t just about keeping up—it’s about staying ahead. You’ll drive innovation in security monitoring, event detection, and incident response, continuously improving how we detect, analyse, and shut down attacks. Your mission is to keep our cyber defence sharp, efficient, and always ready for action.

You’ll be a key player in the Digital Security Leadership Team, working closely with the Vice President of Digital Security and other leaders to ensure our team operates at peak performance. Together, you'll develop strategies to elevate security operations, improve automation, and build a world-class detection & response capability.

If you love leading high-performing teams, solving complex security challenges, and keeping digital spaces safe, this is the role for you!
