WorkSource Oregon Integrated Technology Services Support Manager in Coos Bay, Oregon
PRIMARY PURPOSE This position will oversee the technical support and service operations and functions in conjunction with the Executive Director, Integrated Technology Services/CIO and will manage the ITS help desk staff. The position also administers and maintains the college\'s campus wide email, anti-virus software, and backup software system. The position is responsible for the college\'s Server equipment purchasing and will manage all server contracts. This position is responsible for exercising independent judgment and discretion in regards to all college-wide technology. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s degree from four-year college or university in related field. Education requirement may be substituted with four (4) years of management level technical support experience. Two (2) years of experience in providing integrated technology support. Two (2) years of supervisory experience with a team of two or more staff. PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Work experience in a higher education or large employer setting providing technical computer support for both hardware and software.
