Adecco US, Inc. Accounting Manager in Cookeville, Tennessee
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to recruit and hire an Accounting Manager in the Cookeville, TN area.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger).
Prepare financial statements, reports, and KPIs.
Manage month-end and year-end close.
Develop budgets and forecasts.
Conduct cost accounting and identify savings opportunities.
Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance.
Lead audits and address findings.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
Support plant management with financial insights.
Enhance internal controls and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Associate’s Degree required.
8+ years accounting experience
2+ years of management experience
CPA/CMA highly preferred
Manufacturing Industry background preferred
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
Our client offers:
Base salary in the 90k-110k range
