Role Overview:

As the Global Deployment Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company’s efforts to expand and maintain relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Design Manufactures within HVAC, Refrigeration, and IoT sectors. You will strategically develop sales globally, focusing not only on existing OEM customers but also on forging key global account strategic partnerships. Your responsibilities will include building special relationships with OEM/ODM as end-users, establishing strategic technology alliances, and fostering customer loyalty. Reporting to the Director of OEM Sales, you will win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned existing and new OEM customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the success of the OEM sales organization and Regional Sales Managers.

  • Drive the successful adoption of Newly Introduced Products by creating solutions for specific OEM opportunities within HVAC, Refrigeration, or IoT sectors.

  • Work with the OEM Sales team on New OEM Customer Onboarding activities and follow-ups to maximize first-year sales revenues.

  • Manage and maintain all sales effectiveness systems and toolsets within the department, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and opportunities.

  • Prioritize coverage of top OEM accounts and build a solicitation plan for a focused target list to create a pipeline of near and long-term opportunities.

  • Utilize Professional Services and coordinate with key influencers to own the entire pre-sales process, including product selection assistance, estimating support, and OEM manufacturing assistance.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and deliver impactful collateral and presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of newly introduced products to our OEM.

  • Provide coaching and professional development to sales teams to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned OEM accounts.

  • Coordinate the involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.

  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs for assigned product lines and identify product enhancement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • University or College degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Service and/or Technical Support Services.

  • Knowledge in HVAC, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and/or Lighting Automation Systems.

  • Knowledge of LonWorks and/or BACnet communication protocols.

  • Proficiency in control system estimating, design, programming, and engineering, specifically LON, Niagara Framework, and BACnet.

  • Experience in the development of web-based BAS graphical user interfaces.

  • Knowledge in IT technologies such as HTML, OPC, SNMP, SOAP, and/or network management is an asset.

  • Experience in pricing, estimating, and/or quoting BAS systems is preferred.

  • Proficient in English communication skills; French language skills are a plus.

  • Exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to multitask and handle various priorities.

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.

The range for this position is $74,700 to $167,900. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
