Shift Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred; Certification a plus.
• Basic math aptitude (assessment will be administered during the interview)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Metals experience would be nice to have, estimating experience is a plus
• ISO Experience /Six sigma a plus
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Basic math skills required as you will be required to use multiplication and division on a daily basis.
• Basic understanding of measurements.
• Communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Computer literacy: working knowledge of MS products, to include Office, Excel, etc.
• A desire to learn, grow, create, innovate, and contribute to our industry leading position.

Description:

Seeking an Inside Sales Rep who will be responsible for leveraging industry and product knowledge to generate sales quotes in support of the business development team. You will prepare and submit quotations by analyzing Requests for Quote requirements, technical drawings and associated specifications, profit margin expectations, and other related information necessary to completing the quote.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Communicate with customers to identify and understand their needs; identify and suggest products to meet those needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or supplier relationship problems.
• Participate in the development of pricing strategies and negotiations with customers.
• Stay informed about industry developments and best practices.
