Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
The position involves carrying out the responsibilities of the Engineering Department, which include design, research, prototyping, and engineering documentation. The role demands the creation of new and modification of existing PLC code to achieve the desired result. This includes preparing specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment and materials. Hands-on experience with industrial equipment is a must.
Hard Skills
Programming in Logix 5000 and Tia Portal
Creating and modifying PLC code
Using Autocad for schematics and panel layouts
Preparing BOM
Experience with industrial equipment
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Concord, North Carolina (with the ability to work occasionally from the Monroe, NC location as well).
Work Environment
The role requires up to 50% travel, with the opportunity to work on custom automation design on the floor.
