JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Software Engineer in Columbus, OH. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
DUTIES: Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements. Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals. Actively participate in Scrum team where team members work together to determine who does what. Create detailed manual test cases and automation scripts to determine requirements are captured correctly. Work with the development team to analyze and resolve defects. Support Production Implementation tasks and post-production deployment validations. Design, develop and implement test strategy, test plans based on detailed business requirements document provided by the business analysts. Identify the appropriate test data and prepare it, assist application developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems. Generate reports to provide status, risks, and concerns. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus Seven [7] years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Quality Analyst, Test Analyst, Test Engineer, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Windows; Agile SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Jenkins; Java; Selenium; SQL; REST; SOAP; Cucumber; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Regression Testing; System Integration Testing; unit testing; user acceptance testing.
