Job Overview The Manager, Automation Facilities is responsible for managing an automated warehouse facility from an equipment standpoint. This position is responsible for the hiring, training, managing, and coordinating oftechnicians, contractors, processes, and applications required to maintain the automated equipment assets in the facility, including the facility itself. The Manager, AutomationFacilities works cross-functionally with the operations team and other business functions to ensure the equipment and facility are meeting business needs. Duties & Responsibilities Trains and develops technicians, mechanics, operators, and engineers within the assigned automated warehouse facility Plans and schedules work orders through the SAP plant maintenance platform Performs facility management including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, security access, and emergency equipment using both internal and external resources Provides technical support of the operation to ensure equipment is running at full capacity, using the full extent of internal and external support resources, as needed Manages parts stockroom through SAP plant maintenance platform,procuring materials, maintaining MRP data, MDM Manages the industrial sanitation program for the automation equipment in compliance with corporate quality requirements Supports the operations team through cross-functional leadership-level communication Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Desire and ability to help develop teammates skills and technical expertise Function as a mentor and a role model Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Technical or engineering degree in place of bachelor's, or equivalent combination of education and work experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree (4 years inEngineering, Mechatronics, Automation) Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience Work Environment Work environment will vary As an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status..
