Job Description

As part of the Software Quality Assurance team, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst I executes manual test cases, performing functional, smoke (confidence) and regression testing throughout the product iteration to identify and report defects. This position is also responsible for deriving test cases from product requirements, performing risk analysis to determine test case priority and focused testing efforts. The SQA Analyst I will work closely with other analysts to establish and improve quality assurance standards, processes and procedures. This position will execute manual test cases across varying configurations including browsers and mobile devices. The result will enable Ent to more reliably and predictably deliver quality software to meet the objectives of the business. This resource will work primarily on agile teams with scrum masters, product owners, software developers and other SQA analysts.

Essential Functions Test Execution: Executes test cases. Conducts experienced based and Ad Hoc testing. Test Development: Identifies, authors, prioritizes and maintains test cases derived from product requirements and specifications. Defect Reporting/Tracking: Identifies and reports detailed project defects. Production Deployment: Conducts post deployment testing and change verification. Approves and communicates the status of production release(s). Uses various means to troubleshoot technical concerns and researches possible solutions. Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. Assists in the execution of performance, stress and load testing Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for Level I: Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related 1+ years experience in retail banking, bank back-office operations, bank compliance or related financial services organization Technical experience with mobile devices 1+ years' experience of software quality assurance testing (Preferred) Minimum Formal Qualifications for Level II: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related 1+ years experience in retail banking, bank back-office operations, bank compliance or related financial services organization Technical experience with mobile devices 3+ years' experience of software quality assurance testing (Preferred) Minimum Formal Qualifications for Level III: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related 3+ years experience in retail banking, bank back-office operations, bank compliance or related financial services organization Technical experience with mobile devices 5+ years' experience of software quality assurance testing (Preferred) Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bac elor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experien

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Customer service, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability learn new and emerging concepts very quickly. Ability to work in highly collaborative environments. Financial systems, Banking software support or similar experience. Ability to maintain good productivity in developing test plans and test cases. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word/Excel/Outlook). (preferred) Identifying and documenting test cases. (preferred) Software Testing of Web applications. (preferred) Software Testing of Mobile devices. (preferred) Ad hoc or exploratory testing. (preferred) Experience with Agile software development. (preferred) Familiarity with test case management software.

Certifications Required:

For Level I: None

For Level II: ASTQB/ISTQB Certified Tester or similar certification (preferred)

For Level III: ASTQB/ISTQB Certified Tester or similar certification within 90 days
