Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Program Manager supporting the US Space Force, Mission Delta 2, 2nd Sustainment Squadron (USSF/MD2/2STS). This branch executes activities in support of the alignment of key legacy system, network, software applications, and data initiatives within the command and Control (C2) arena. The 2STS portfolio initiatives include sustainment, technical refresh, integration, and modernization activities for legacy C2 systems, networks, and applications. Consumers and producers of data are internal and external to the USSF. The portfolio also includes the execution of initiatives to enable the processing and exposure of data to mission critical stakeholders and mission partners in support of the warfighter. The 2nd Sustainment Squadron Portfolio programs support the National Space Defense Center (NSDC), the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), the 18th SDS, the 19th SDS, Mission Partners, Allies and Coalition Partners, STRATCOM, as well as other working groups internal and external to the Branch. Responsibilities

An A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government. The A&AS Space Engineering Program Manager will work closely with and provide support to the Government Program Manager for the execution of program management and engineering contract performance. In this role, the primary effort will be in support of the Modernization Activities for Space Command and Control Operational Technologies (MASCCOT) contract (primary contract responsibility) but you will also support the Distributed Space Command and Control (C2) system program portfolio as needed. The Space Engineering Program Manager is an A&AS contractor that works as a trusted advisor advisor to the Government Program Management Office (GPO). As the Space Engineering Program Manager, you will work closely with and provide support to the Government Program Manager for all aspects of program and project management and will also be called upon to apply engineering and execution expertise, as needed, in support of short and long-range plans, service goals, schedules, policies, and objectives This position may supervise a team of contractors.

Duties include, but not limited to: * Programmatic planning and execution support for DSC2 and MASCCOT initiatives in conjunction with the Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission by conducting strategic and tactical analysis of project and program data and requirements. * Prepares recommendations for the completion of activities to accomplish the goals and objectives of the department. Monitors project/program status and adjusts plans accordingly. Keeps the Program Manager and Materiel Leader informed on a timely basis. Will work interdepartmentally with a variety of government civilian and military staff to obtain needed resources and support. * Supports analysis and inputs associated with contract performance, project performance, status, priorities, financial performance, project status, risk, technical execution and mitigations. * Develops programmatic documentation for Government Program Office reporting purposes. * Conducts in-depth analysis of project data and requirements. Experienced with the review, control, and reporting on project status, risks, technical execution, and mitigations. Develops, prioritizes and executes risk reduction strategies, studies, and recommendations to mitigate identified risk conditions. * Provides oversight for the 2STS data, system, and network integration initiatives. * Supports the coordination of the resolution of portfolio programmatic, technical, and system issues and defici ncies with prime contractors, depot contractors, and other support contractors related to contract performanc * Supports the Government Program Office (GPO) to build a campaign to identify, build, advance and maintain stakeholder relationships and stakeholder requirements.
