Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team, focusing on the installation of underground utilities for new build construction. You will operate heavy equipment, engaging in tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipe, backfilling trenches, and grading. Additional responsibilities include manual labor, such as digging with shovels and laying pipe, as required. The role primarily operates in areas from Castle Rock to Pueblo, with potential projects in Rocky Ford and possibly Buckley Airforce Base.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with heavy equipment operation (excavators, loaders, skids)

  • Ability to grade within +/- 0.10'

  • Proficiency in cutting grade, reading stakes

  • Skill in using level and laser equipment for grade shooting

  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints

Soft Skills

  • Teachable attitude and a strong team player

  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual

  • Willingness to engage in various aspects of the job to ensure project completion

Job Type

This is a direct hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in El Paso County, Colorado.

Work Environment

Closed commercial construction sites.
