Position Title: Flight & Ground Test Delivery Team Lead

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

Description of Duties:

The Flight & Ground Test Delivery Team Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

· Be responsible for balancing the budget along with the Project Management and Engineering resources allocated to the Flight & Ground Test Delivery Team

· Focus on mission and task order implementation/delivery, including CAM oversight & responsibility, and proposal support

· Be responsible for the personnel assigned to this team along with the daily/weekly/yearly prioritization of their time and effort alignment; h old employees accountable to meeting mission needs/deadlines

· Approve employee timecards and expense reports.

· Oversee all aspects of Missile Defense Agency Flight & Ground Test planning and execution

· Mentor the Event Service Mangers on project management and event lifecycles, processes, proposal development, supervisory requirements, and professional relationships that are applicable to the team and the associated government customer

· Mentor Network and Multi-disciplinary engineers on Flight Test Environment and enterprise activities; facilitate cross functional training and utilization opportunities with partners across the Directorate

· Mentor Asset Protection personnel in the protection of required network resources to ensure event protection periods are in place and allow for uninterrupted execution of test activities

· Team with peer Delivery Team Leads across the Event Engineering Product Team and Directorate to ensure adequate assets and expertise are available to support mission requirements; seek out integration and efficiencies across the Event Engineering Product Team and Directorate

· Oversee activities associated with maintenance and operations of deployable network resources, to include timely implementation actions associated with deployment, re-deployment, and return to baseline requirements

· Participate in routine status meetings with Product Team and Directorate-level leaders, as necessary

Here’s what you’ll need :

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 6 years of general experience

· Must have 7 years of direct experience leading a professional team to achieve desired results

· Must have 3 years in management or leadership roles

· Must have experience with Earned Value Management

· Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

· Must have current experience working on the IRES contract

· Must have direct experience as a Project Manager or Team Leader

Desired Requirements:

· Management/leadership experience focused in IT

· Demonstrate experience with Missile Defense Agency weapons systems and CIO service capabilities and delivery

· Have experience with BMC Remedy

· Have experience with Project Lifecycle and customer relations

This position is expected to pay $133,000 - $158,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
