Gama-1 Technologies Senior Windows System Admin in College Park, Maryland
Provide support for windows server systems running on windows 2012/2016/2019. Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM’s, deploying new VM’s and working with application teams on Middleware support. Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issues
Task Description:
Linux Administrative activities include:
Maintaining a stable Windows environment
Patch servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities
Use Ansible tower to manage and maintain the Windows environment
Write Ansible scripts to optimize SA work
Manage Puppet in providing compliance of the Windows environment
Manage and maintain repo server and its repositories and the devices that pull down the repos
Manage Active Directory and DNS
Proficient in VMWare Esxi infrastructure and knowledge on deploying VM’s
Must be able to work independently to provide input and recommendations into the design phase and successfully execute requirements.
Must excel at troubleshooting complex problems to resolution.
Must be able to configure and install virtual desktop infrastructure and Enterprise backup solutions.
Must be able to tune system utilizations for memory, processes, and network performance.
Must be able to train and mentor Junior Level SAs
Required skills/Level of Experience :
8 – 12 years of experience with planning, designing,and installing virtual hardware/software/storage within an Enterprise data center
Must have Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent
Should have expert level knowledge on Ansible and managing of Linux environment
Active Directory Management
VMWare ESXi
The ability to obtain a security clearance
