Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Cockeysville, Maryland
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Cockeysville, Maryland. This role is in the telecom industry and involves extensive data entry, handling a high volume of accounts, and reconciling credit cards. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our growing team in the processing of accounts payable.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with processing accounts payable
• Process invoices and enter checks
• Handle a high volume of accounts and data entry
• Reconcile credit cards and perform bank reconciliations
• Conduct bank deposits and scan invoices
• Understand and manage credits and debits
• Utilize Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel for data management
• Work with Sage 50 and manage Accounts Payable (AP)
• Perform Cash Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations
• Carry out Credit Card Reconciliation and prepare Journal Entries. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
• Proficiency in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Sage 50 software
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Experience with Cash Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation procedures
• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
