Key job responsibilities

  • Create roadmaps for project implementation and brief various teams on requirements

  • Set measurable milestones for programs as well as continuous goal setting for ongoing programs

  • Collect and analyze data to drive decisions and provide business insights

  • Run meetings with partner teams to track progress, implement new initiatives, and improve existing programs

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders

A day in the life

You’ll be the key link between a number of teams, including Retail, VX, AF and SupplyChain. That means you’ll be close to the day-to-day operations for EU managed sites, but also contribute to new ways to improve processes and holding stakeholders accountable.

A typical day will involve meetings with different areas of the business, deep diving into metrics, and looking ahead to request levers for future operational issues. You’ll be a source of leadership and support your team to be the best managers they can be.

About the team

Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience in supply chain

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Knowledge of SQL
