Emerson IT Business Systems Analyst (2 years) in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you will take responsibility for configuring, customizing, and overseeing the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions within an Emerson company, ensuring the system aligns with the organization's business processes and requirements.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and document IT solutions, respecting company standards, SAFe Agile and Stage Gate Methodologies, ensuring data accuracy, quality assurance, security, and performance optimization; Support planning and execution of IT related projects according to a structured, well-defined methodology. Accomplish defined project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.

  • Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary; Support Business IT Team and Business Owners in building and evaluating business processes around ERP applications when required.

  • Implementation, Configuration, Parametrization and Customization in ERP roll outs of ERP applications; Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements and develop effective solutions; Implement data migration, transformation, and integration processes between different systems.

  • Provide technical support, resolve issues ensuring minimal downtime, implement disaster recovery procedures, identify bottlenecks, and provide troubleshooting assistance or recommendation.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and standard methodologies in ERP applications implementation and development.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with experience in IT on a previous position.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows; Strong Process Mapping skills within ERP applications; Strong understanding of ERP environments and experience in ERP user support activities

  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.

  • Fluent English level in verbal and writing is required

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Solid grasp of database management systems, proficiency in SQL programming (Preferred Microsoft SQL Server) and Business Intelligent applications.

  • Experience in a matrix organization

  • Any other European languages is a plus
