Job Details Job Summary Responsible for performing inbound/outbound movements and activities of materials by following Standard procedures/instructions of our distribution services. This includes the physical movement and electronic tracking of materials, in collaboration with other departments. This person may be responsible to adjust staffing assignments, or handle complex assignments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Adjust staffing assignments and remove barriers to ensure smooth workflow and achievement of daily goals. Examples of staffing adjustments may include: moving staff from one work station to another, reassigning tasks based on changing workflow priorities, etc.

Identify and escalate workflow, staffing, employee relations, or other issues. Assist to identify and implement solutions.

Facilitate team start up meetings. Communicate production schedule, daily goals, and any other pertinent information to ensure service commitments are met with minimal downtime.

Provide on the job training for new associates to assigned area. Ensure cross-training depth for all positions, including the Sr. Distribution Specialist responsibilities.

Review all work instructions prior to running jobs and doing system transactions to ensure updated revisions, procedures, and materials are used.

In accordance with the production schedule, pull and stage all required materials in advance of production start.

Locate product in the warehouse in order to pull, stage, process orders, and complete system transactions while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain inventory accuracy by accurately filling out all paperwork, processing jobs, performing physical inventory counts, processing returns, filing freight claims, and accurately updating the computer inventory system.

Monitor and cycle-count stock min/max levels of materials to ensure adequate amounts of inventory are maintained.

Monitor raw material levels and submit replenishment orders to ensure availability for production.

Ensure all jobs are reported and transferred to finished goods timely and accurately. Ensure all system transactions are completed timely and accurately.

Ensure timely communication and coordination with logistics, carriers, customer service, planning, quality, and other departments as required.

Accurately provide daily reports on production output, scrap, freight claims, RMA's, and any other information requested.

Maintain presence in assigned area at all times.

Safely operate all equipment used in warehouse operation including forklift, pallet jack, machine shrink wrapper, utility knives.

Complete general upkeep of assigned area, including line taping, clean-up, and organization.

Comply with all ISO 14001 requirements.

Comply with internal environmental management system requirements, as applicable.

Complies with all applicable regulations and company procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

3 years of related working experience

Working efficiency with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel)

Working experience using computerized inventory control or distribution programs, such as (but not limited to) Oracle EBS, SAP, Precision, etc.

Experience operating powered industrial trucks and lifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a regulated industry.
