JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated and skilled Machine Operator to join our A2 team. This role requires an individual with experience operating high-speed, complex machinery within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment while adhering to strict quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Operation:

  • Operate various types of machinery involved in the manufacturing process, including but not limited to automated assembly equipment, printing equipment, and automatic riveters.

  • Monitor machine performance as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.

  • Answer alarms for equipment malfunctions and perform minor jam clearing.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures while operating machinery.

  • Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.

  • Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO (first in, first out) inventory system.

  • Maintain functionality of all production equipment using preventative maintenance measures.

  • Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area at all times.

  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations, wear/ utilize all required PPE

  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS /KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to calculate the quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use at any time

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software

  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages

  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aids

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required with mechanical ability and aptitude to follow instructions written and verbal

  • Experience in machine operation, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to machine operation.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed to support production schedules.
