Ohio Means Jobs Cleveland Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Tool Room Machinist. The purpose of this position is to manufacture tooling necessary to build or repair tooling for the manufacturing process. Duties include: * Basic understanding of planning and construction of tools, dies, fixtures, and gages to assist in the repair or construction of a die Accurately machine parts required on standard toolroom equipment (millers, surface grinders, lathes and other various types of equipment) Read and understand blueprints and details Produce complicated tools from rough sketch or detailed drawings Identify weak areas in tools an suggest changes to foreman in order to reduce unforeseen problems Completed assignment from layout to finish grind within necessary tolerances Follows sketch or print to effectively create machined part accurately to tolerances required Understands QS-9000 policies and record keeping pertaining to work area understands company safety policies and procedures Perform other related duties as assigned by manager *Hours: Monday-Friday 6a-2:20pm Salary range $20-$22 depending on experience Interested candidates apply here or contact: Wendall Garth wgarth@dwfs.us 216-946-9318
