Jacobs Project Management Company Project Engineer (Req 13817) in Cleveland, Ohio
DUTIES: Guide site operations of a large federal project reporting to the PM and Project Exec. Oversee and process RFI's, submittals, Estimates, Schedules, Change Orders, Risk Management and Quality Assurance field efforts. Coordinate reach back with the Cx team efforts and other Jacobs personnel on the project. Utilize PMCS to track deliverables and project documentation. Review and validation of CMc invoices with regards to quantities and unit prices tied to the GMP on a monthly basis. Create agendas and meeting minutes on technical topics and regular project status meetings. Apply knowledge of safety practices in the Construction Environment. Work collaboratively with Client (GSA Region 5), GSA Celebrezze Property Administration, Building Tenants, Design, Construction and Jacobs teammates.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or related occupation. In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: 1. Financial Management -- ability to quantify and track project metrics. 2. Computer Technology Office Skills -- Knowledge of general MS Office programs and GSA programs. 3. Project Management -- Run and organize meetings and lead group to make decisions aligning with GSA P-100 standards. 4. Contract Management -- able to understand construction contracts and how to process change orders using GSA format. 5. Quality Management -- previous experience performing field Quality assurance for both Architectural and MEP.
