Role: Engineering Manager
Experience: Minimum 9 to 12 years of solid experience.
Job Location: Candidates need to be willing to work in a hybrid model from the Client’s office in Cleveland – OH, various or remote.
Must Have Qualifications
• Strong experience in Java 11, Core Java and PL/SQL.
• Must have domain expertise in Cards and Payments.
• Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Possess strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Nice to have:
• Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication and personal skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work model.
• The ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

• A track record of delivering successful software projects.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of engineers in the design development and implementation of software solutions.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle ensuring high-quality results.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Ensure alignment to coding standards processes and security protocols.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage project timelines resources and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Develop and maintain documentation for software applications and systems.
• Fix and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Communicate effectively with collaborators to provide project updates and gather feedback.
• Contribute to the company’s strategic goals by delivering high-impact software solutions.
Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until March 28th, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $56K – $117K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
