Summary:
We are looking for motivated interns aged 16 and up to join our construction team. As a Construction Intern, you will work alongside experienced general contractors, plumbers, and electricians to gain hands-on experience in various trades, including framing, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, and general site management.
Responsibilities:
Assist with framing, flooring, plumbing, and electrical tasks under supervision.
Learn and perform general site management and maintenance duties.
Support experienced professionals in daily construction activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on the construction site.
Contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.
Qualifications:
Aged 16 or older.
Interest in learning about construction trades and site management.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Duration: dependent on the client's entry into the WEX program. Up to 6 months.
Hours: part-time, 20-30 hours a week.
Compensation: paid, $15.00 an hour.
