Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of appliances in both homes and businesses. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this role, as it requires travel to service calls. Key Responsibilities: ? Diagnose and Repair: Accurately identify and troubleshoot issues with various appliances, including but not limited to refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers. ? Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan. ? Service Calls: Travel to customers' homes and businesses to perform on-site repairs and maintenance. ? Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by clearly communicating with clients, explaining repair procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns. ? Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. ? Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. ? Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of tools required for repairs, ensuring timely restocking as needed. ? Training: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies through ongoing training and development programs. Qualifications: ? Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in appliance repair or a related field. Building maintenance/HVAC ? Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in appliance repair is preferred but not nesissary ? Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. ? Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members. ? Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy appliances, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces. ? Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for making service calls to various locations. ? Technology: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and computer systems for record-keeping. Salary: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
