- Manage Technical Services Department
- Manage the development of the library's automated catalog database
- Classify, catalog and process library materials
- Acknowledge gifts and memorials; slect suitable books or other materials for memorials
- Prepare annotations of acquisitions for publication on website, etc.
- Prepare books to be sent to binidery
- Participate in book slections
- Bring to secretary's attention needed cataloging and processing supplies
- Develop efficient, effective procedures for technical services department to insure timely participations of materials for use by the public
- Performed assigned duties by Director
Qualifications:
- College degree with libary science major
- Supervisng ability
- Typing and computer skills
- Skill in working with people
- Proficient with use of computers and their applications as used in the delivery of current library services
- Wide reading background a plus
