SUMMARY: Maintenance Support Coordinator
*From $18/hr- 1st Shift (Monday-Friday). Great Full Time Benefits! *
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance programs, managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring accurate data entry and meter readings. This role supports the maintenance team by ensuring equipment and company vehicles operate efficiently through proactive maintenance planning and organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- *Schedule Preventative Maintenance *Plan and coordinate routine maintenance activities using the EPICOR (ERP) system to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Schedule Fleet Preventative Maintenance: Organize and track maintenance schedules for company vehicles and fleet to ensure compliance.
- Order Repair Parts: Source, order and negotiate necessary repair parts to support maintenance operations and minimize equipment downtime.
- Order & Inventory Stock Parts: Maintain stock levels of essential maintenance parts, track inventory usage, and reorder as necessary to prevent shortages.
- Data Entry: Accurately record maintenance activities, inventory transactions, and service schedules in the maintenance management system.
- Meter Reading: Conduct and log readings for gas, water, vehicles, forklifts, and other utility meters to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:* *High School diploma or GED required.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred. Previous work experience regarding vendor negotiation and pricing is a plus. Basic mechanical, building electrical and automation knowledge is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.
LANGUAGE SKILL: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language Should be able to adequately communicate in English language and writing.
*COMPUTER SKILLS: *Proficient keystrokes using Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office software. Prefer at least one year of experience using ERP/MRP software. Ability to complete data entry in an accurate and expedient manner. Working knowledge of Internet and e-mail.
*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: *Must possess basic math skills.
REASONING ABILITY:* *Ability to solve practical problems and deal with the variety of situations which occur. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS: *Agility of the upper and lower body extremities and capable of lifting 35lbs regularly.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
