Newegg Inc. Purchasing Administration Specialist in City of Industry, California

  • Responsible for accomplishing timely inventory replenishment and purchase order review. * Work closely with category leader(s) and merchandisers to arrange strategy buys to meet the category promotion schedules. * In charge of the inventory management of the assigned categories), including aging inventory management, in-stock item activation, out-of-stock control, pre-order and open box inventory management. * Accountable for utilizing Newegg's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for virtual fulfillment (VF), identifying opportunities for product selection expansion, and coordinating marketplace. * Gather and analyze product return information to better improve product assortment for attaining the best customer shopping experience, control RMA rate, liquidation rate, and improve vendor return policy. * Responsible for vendor relationship maintains, follow up vendor agreements, and collaborate with other departments (ex. Finance, Logistics, RMA, etc.) to resolve pending issues * Must possess a High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred * 3 or more years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing is required * Knowledge of the principles and practices in Purchasing * Must be proficient in Excel, SQL and data analysis. * Must have excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills. * Must be self-directed, proactive, fast learner and able to work independently while also being comfortable with contributing in a team environment * Able to operate equipment, vehicles, tools, machinery and materials required * Language Skills - Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
