The Opportunity

Procter & Gamble is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our Customer Analytics & Automation Team. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work directly with top customer/retail sales teams, to identify opportunities to increase productivity via automation and deliver analytics capabilities that deliver new insights.

You’ll need to demonstrate proficiency in learning new technologies, mine multiple sources of data, and develop solutions that will empower the business to take action in order to win with consumers. Your contributions and insights will directly deliver productivity and increase the delivery speed of insights to our largest customer/retail teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth business, analytical, and systems knowledge to improve and/or build analytical solutions, approaches, and business recommendations.

  • Build analytic capabilities that improve how P&G goes to market with retailers.

  • Demonstrate use of ETL solutions (KNIME Hub), Databricks, and analytics tools (Power BI, Azure based technologies, Office 365)

  • Learn and apply automation solutions (Blue Prism, Workato, Power Apps)

  • Develop automation scripts in Python/Selenium

  • Develop data integration, data visualization and storytelling mastery.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Consumer Research, Finance, Product Supply, IT, and Sales

  • Participate in management of third-party development, operations, and support

  • Continuously learn as the business and technology landscape change

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a curiosity and passion about discovering new things and the ability to learn quickly.

  • Can work independently and as a team to gather requirements and translate into solutions.

  • Is detail-oriented and analytical in nature, with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated to work with diverse business scenarios, prioritizing multiple priorities and have a business and consultancy mind-set, while technically (data) savvy.

  • Can produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to listen, capture requirements and translate those into business solutions.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of related professional work experience in Data management and visualization skills/tools (e.g. SQL, KNIME, Power BI, Tableau or similar)

  • Prior experience with data processing/integration skills (KNIME, Alteryx)

  • Experience with RPA (e.g. Blue Prism, UI Path)

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Pyspark, SQL, Spark, DAX and/or Java

Pay Range: $105k – $150k

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
