GENERAL SUMMARY: As a member of the Meals and Beverage team, the Category Leadership Manager will support Kroger and/or Albertsons using point-of-sale, loyalty and shopper data to create clear direction for the category to align customer and Campbell's strategies and tactics. The Category Leadership Manager will work collaboratively with Shopper Insights, Customer Sales Leads, World Headquarter Category Strategy and Sales Planning to achieve Campbell and customer objectives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key focus areas / accountabilities including how those accountabilities are managed with percentage of time allocation for each result) Develops category strategy and assists customer with integrated category strategy development. Provides strategic and tactical recommendations on the Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising and Pricing (DSMP) goals to improve overall category performance. Responsible for developing customer specific presentations of relevant consumer insights, competitive responses, and new item/category selling strategies. Develops strong working relationships with customers and cross functional departments. Manages Category specific customer calls - e.g. Category Reviews, Business Updates, New Item Presentations, and Planogram Work Works closely with Campbell's Sales teams to provide analytical support for key strategy changes (i.e. List Price Increases, Annual Planning) COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE: Job Complexity: Works with cross-functional groups including the customer, customer team, and World HQ resources. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years CPG/analytical experience EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED): Strategic Insights Technical Skills: IRI, Panel Data, 84.51 Market 6 & Stratum, Shopper 360/Symphony AI, JDA Space Planning Category, Loyalty, & Shopper Knowledge Strong Communication Skills Problem Solving & Analytical Ability Project Management Influencing Skills Advanced excel, PowerPoint % OF TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: 20% travel required for customer, team, and internal meetings WORK ENVIRONMENT: Cincinnati location preferred. Hybrid - 3 days in office. #LI-Hybrid Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $85,900-$140,800 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
